What a beautiful and serene place! We were warmly welcomed by our host, Joe — an absolute delight with a wonderful sense of humour. He was very thorough in introducing us to the Oriole Chalet, and we appreciated the attention to detail.

The chalet was spotless and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Speaking of comfort, the king-size bed offered the best night’s sleep ever! The smart TV was a great bonus, and the outdoor braai area — fully undercover — made braaing in the rain an absolute pleasure.

The view was amazing, and the nature walk on the premises with our two pugs was refreshing and peaceful. We also enjoyed a dip in the sparkling clean pool and loved meeting the piggies and Alaska, the wolf dog.

All in all, a fantastic weekend breakaway. Highly recommended!

Very clean, everything is maintained. The environment brings peace. I would recommend it for couples.

it was lovely! Joe was very helpful. got firewood so we could braai or just sit around the camp fire. lovely evening walks through the woods. and the closed in garden was beautiful. our puppies enjoyed running around and playing with the other dogs especially Alaska.

Our family reserved Woodland Gardens for a weekend to celebrate a special birthday, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the dogs included! The chalets were well equipped, clean, and featured private fenced gardens that offered both proximity and privacy. The gardens were lovely and the hosts were very accommodating, assisting us with additional tables, tablecloths, and other arrangements to support our celebration. We primarily gathered at the Kingfisher chalet, the largest of the units, which provided a great enclosed garden space ideal for braais and relaxation. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable weekend, and we are grateful for the hospitality.
