Woodland Gardens offered a lovely, private and peaceful stay. Away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life.

We really enjoyed our stay at Woodland Gardens. The accommodation was comfortable and neat, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. What stood out to us the most was that each unit was completely fenced. This gave us great peace of mind knowing our dogs were safe and could not run away. They absolutely loved being able to run around and play freely in their own safe area. It made the stay stress-free for us and fun for them. We would definitely recommend Woodland Gardens to anyone travelling with pets. (Ibis Chalet)

Woodland Gardens Lodge is an absolutely superb pet-friendly retreat that we will be visiting again!
This lovely, local getaway has quickly become our favourite. We have been there twice and both myself and my two dogs didn't want to leave. We felt so welcomed by the owners, Joe and Lorraine on arrival and throughout our stay. Woodland has become one of our favourite escapes, even since the first time we checked in.
The drive through to Woodland Gardens Lodge is wonderfully scenic and as this natural wonderland lies just outside of Gauteng, it is easy to find and also makes for a fun, mini-roadtrip!
The amazing cabins are clean, have an awesome braai area and bonfire in the spacious garden, each have a gate that is fenced off all around and convinent parking close by that adds to the 110% safety and peace of mind throughout your stay.
My dogs loved to explorey the entire place as I did too and we all had an absolute blast!
If you love the feeling of being one with nature and bringing your dogs along for an absolutely superb experience then Woodland Gardens awaits! The view of the mountain range is amazing and the night skies can be seen speckled with thousands of incredible celestial views too.
We are already making space on the calendar for our next visit. Thank you, Woodland Gardens Lodge for an unforgettable stay, every time!

Loved the tranquility.

We had such a lovely stay at Woodlands Lodge. The cabins are spotless and really well looked after, and on our arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find ice and cold water already waiting for us. There was also already wood placed in the fire pit, ready for you to make a bonfire.
The owners are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything you might need. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, with no annoying noise from other guests, which made it perfect for relaxing. The place itself is beautiful and scenic, with so much bird life to enjoy if you love nature.
Their dogs and other farm animals are the friendliest and added so much charm to our stay. There’s also plenty to do nearby—great restaurants, a lovely bookstore, antique shops, and more.
We really felt welcomed here and can’t recommend Woodlands Lodge enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The Weaver chalet has a beautiful cabin feel. Its very peaceful. Perfect city escape. It is also pet friendly.

We stayed at Woodland Gardens on the weekend of the 2/01/26. We booked the Loerie Chalet as it was just two of us and our furbaby,Alpha. The service was excellent. John and Lorraine welcomed us. Alpha loved it as he had his own fenced up garden where he could explore. There are dogs,cats,pigs,goats and chickens on the premises. It is a peaceful place with lots of walking trails for your furbabies. It is self-catering with braai facilities and a swimming pool. The chalets are not close to each other. Excellent breakaway from city life.

My husband and I wanted peace and quiet and that's what we got. Hornbill cabin was warm and cosy. Walks are lovely. Their dogs are friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back and will recommend. Thank you

So relaxing, definitely needed after the chaotic Christmas preparation.
