Peaceful and refreshing. Woodland Gardens is a perfect getaway from the busy life and it’s just over an hour’s drive from Johannesburg.

Wow, what a beautiful place. I feel so relaxed after spending 3 days at this amazing place. I will definitely be back in summer, really enjoyed my stay. The cleaning staff who came to service the unit daily were very friendly and efficient. The hosts were both lovely and very friendly. The views are spectacular, the peace and quiet you find at the observation deck is out of this world. Loved my stay and I will be back soon.

This chalet is super private and spotless, being serviced every morning. It's so cosy inside with the fireplace and outside with the best firepit. The hosts are friendly and definitely ensured our privacy. All the dogs on the property just made the property feel more like home. The highlight for us was the walk to the overlook where we can see the entire mountain range and finishing the day off with a bath that is big enough to fit two people. Definitely bring some bubble bath or bath bombs or both! The entire trip was an absolute dream!

Great getaway from the city.

Awesome, peaceful stay. The cabin is well equipped, farm is beautiful and well maintained. Great escape, incredible hosts.

Such a beautiful property with trees everywhere! Keep a fire going the entire time and enjoy braais and s’mores and drinks on the lookout deck. Lovely and private. And the major plus was that our dog probably had an even better time than we did!
(Just note that you can hear the cars from the main road)

Friendly owners. Comfortable bed. Place needs some TLC and feels very rundown. Not like the pics at all. Quite pricey for what you get if you compare to similar properties in the area. Good getaway out of Jhb for a quick weekend away if you just need a break from city life and not too fussed about where you stay.

Had a great time, it was the perfect getaway from the busy city just to relax , braai, drink and unwind. Look out for the very sweet dog Oscar , he’s a keeper , he will be after your female partner
